A love story that travelled from Trichy to Chicago to Tanjavur


We could talk about a few distinct moments from Sanjuna & Bala's Engagement at Chicago this February, what an auspicious month to get engaged, we know right!


There’s their 200 person wedding party, the family photos in DakshinaChitra, and the gorgeous sunkissed Chicago Art Gallery that was out of a fairytale for every couple in the District.


We could also talk about the deep, meaningful speeches from the parents out on the steps of the LINE. We could talk for hours about Sanjuna’s accomplishments (Fullbright Scholar, Scientist, speaks multiple languages) or how Bala is basically a Chemical Engineer, Quizzer and a comics ferak wrapped into this amazing Tamil dream transformer.


Lastly, we could talk about how the whole day’s story was full of some of our favorite things: love and intentionality. Every piece of the day was planned, and for the moments that weren’t, those were already full of love, so the whole day flowed like Sanjuna & Bala’s family and friends had a complete and global adventure of a wedding day, right here in Tanjavur. There were so many favorite moments from this day, but we feel it would be best to simply show you.
